Biography
He is specialist training in neurosurgery with substantial academic interests.His main research focus is on oculomotor neurophysiology, on which I have published several papers particularly on neural decision-making models of eye movements, and on brain tumour genetics.He is completing a research fellowship on the Wellcome Trust PhD for Clinicians programme at Cambridge, where he is performing a number of forward genetic screens to identify key genes in glioblastoma in mouse and in vitro human models. He have been awarded the BrainLab Neurosurgery Award 2016 from the Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons for his work on genome editing in human glioma stem-like cells.
